Two men charged in connection to Queens Park assault


Bedfordshire Police has charged two men in connection to a serious assault in Queens Park, Bedford on Monday (26 April) which left a man needing hospital treatment for his injuries.

Alan Chambers, 50, of Clapham Road, Bedford, and William Nixon, 44, of De Parys Avenue, Bedford, have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

Both men have been remanded in custody pending their next court appearance on 1 June.
