Two people have been arrested following a stabbing in Great Barford last week (Friday).
Emergency services were called to the High Street close to the bridge at around 4:20 PM on Friday, 26 June 2026.
Police received reports that a man had been stabbed during the incident.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries but has since been discharged.
A 19-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday) on suspicion of wounding with intent, making threats to kill, and threats to destroy or damage property.
He currently remains in police custody for questioning.

A 19-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody.
Bedfordshire Police acknowledged the distress the incident has caused to families and local people.
Officers stated they are grateful to everyone who has already come forward to help with enquiries.
In a statement yesterday, Detective Inspector Jon Stow from Bedfordshire Police said: “We are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward and report to us.
“We understand that this incident will cause some concern for the community and we want to reassure the public that we are following several lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances of what we believe to be a targeted attack.”
The force added that they will continue working proactively with partners and community members to tackle serious violence and help keep neighbourhoods safe.
