Bedfordshire Police is appealing for information after a stabbing took place in Great Barford on Friday (26 June).
Officers were called just after 4.20pm, following reports that a man had been stabbed on the High Street, close to Great Barford bridge.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
Police say the suspect is described as a white man, around 5’11’’ with black hair, wearing a white tank top and black shorts.
Detective inspector Jon Stow from Bedfordshire Police said: “We are asking that anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward and report to us.
“We understand that this incident will cause some concern for the community and we want to reassure the public that we are following several lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances of what we believe to be a targeted attack.”
