The Reform UK candidate standing in the Bedford and Kempston constituency at this year’s election has withdrawn from the race, with a replacement yet to be announced.

The deadline for candidates to be added to the ballot paper is Friday, 7 June.

Maggie Moriondo had been named as the Reform UK candidate well ahead of the announcement of a general election, but her website remained unfinished for over a year, as reported by the Bedford Independent last week.
