Millfest returns to Bromham this year, bringing its unique festival vibe back to the riverside at Bromham Mill on Saturday, 6 and Sunday, 7 September.
Symphonica will be headlining on Saturday, with a 26-piece orchestra teaming up with a world-class DJ to deliver their legendary Ibiza Club Classics show, featuring a collision of genres.
Mitch Macfarlane, owner of The Mill and MillFest co-founder, expressed his excitement for the headline act, saying, “Getting Symphonica to Bromham is a real moment for us.
“The idea of a full orchestra and DJ dropping Ibiza anthems by the river — it’s not something you see every day in a village setting. It’s bold, it’s different, and we think people are going to be blown away.”
Others sharing the stage on Saturday include Dan Blaxx, returning home with his Djsax set, featuring a fusion of live saxophone and DJ-driven club grooves, and Kaleidos, the beloved soul-pop-funk powerhouse.
Sunday will see Clique headline bringing their ultra-smooth blend of soul, pop, and Motown. With female jazz and soul artist Silky Wilford and Afro-Cuban jazz-funk masters Cong Fusion, also performing on Sunday.
The event will also have what the organisers say is “the best from Bedfordshire’s food and drink scene”, including the award-winning Killa Waffles, Punjabi street food from Urban Spice Box, and gourmet burgers and hot dogs from Barry & Jojo’s.
MillFest will take place on the riverside grounds of Bromham Hill, and this year’s capacity has expanded to 1,500, building on last year’s sold-out success.
Matt Dwyer, festival and events specialist and MillFest co-creator, added: “The lineup’s come together brilliantly, and there’s a real buzz about what we’re building.
“I’m especially looking forward to seeing people enjoying great music in such a beautiful setting. That’s what it’s all about for us.”
