Win tickets to Cranfield University’s annual entrepreneur and small business owner conference

On 15 June, Cranfield University is hosting its annual conference for budding entrepreneurs, small business owners, investors and academia – and we have a pair of tickets to give to one lucky business.

VentureDay is organised by the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship with the aim of fostering an ecosystem of innovation and inspiring the next generation of business leaders. This year’s theme is ‘Surviving and Thriving in Difficult Times’ – something many small business owners can relate to.

VentureDay 2023 will feature keynote speeches from industry leaders, who will share their experiences, insights, and success stories, providing valuable guidance and inspiration to attendees.

The event also includes panel discussions and expert-led sessions covering diverse topics such as funding strategies, purpose-led business, emerging digital trends, and the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic business landscape.

“This year, VentureDay tackles big ideas to move from survival mode to thriving,” said Gabriela Pearson, communication coordinator at Cranfield School of Management and co-founder/chief impact 0fficer at Foxy Wings in Bedford.

“Every session is jam-packed with powerful research insights from our academics combined with years of experience and expertise from successful business leaders.

“If your business is going through a period of growth, I highly recommend this local conference as a chance to spend a day listening and reflecting.

“Attending an event like VentureDay is a chance to step out of the chaos of start-up life, be inspired, take control, and create the kind of company you are proud of.”

Hosted by Cranfield University School of Management, VentureDay begins at 8.45am on Thursday 15 June, with sessions until 6pm. The cost is £95 per delegate and you can register at the Cranfield University website here.

“We are thrilled to host VentureDay 2023, where we aim to inspire, educate, and empower entrepreneurs from various fields,” said Dr Stephanie Hussels, Head of the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship.

“Our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, and entrepreneurial aspirations turn into successful ventures. We look forward to showcasing the incredible talent and ideas that will shape the future of business.”
