YouthTV, a platform dedicated to amplifying young voices, is on the lookout for new talent to front its brand-new television show, launching in early Autumn 2025.
The team is recruiting presenters aged 15 to 21 to join the line-up of a weekly, youth-led programme that will explore the issues, ideas, and stories that matter most to young people, from pop culture and identity to mental health, creativity, and current affairs.

YouthTV is seeking four to five confident, passionate, and thoughtful individuals to bring authenticity, energy, and a range of perspectives to the screen.
“Our development team has been working non-stop on this format since our relaunch in January,” said Urban Judge, group CEO of YouthTV.
“It’s exciting to finally be at the stage where we’re inviting young people to get involved. This show is more than entertainment, it’s a space for young people to be heard and seen.”
The programme is set to air 48 weeks of the year, with weekly episodes, themed specials, and pop-up community events.
Designed as a multi-platform experience, the show will also produce short-form content for digital platforms, alongside tailored versions for use in schools.
How to apply
Interested applicants must submit a one to two-minute video introducing themselves, explaining why they’d make a great presenter, and offering a brief take on a topic they care about.
- Submissions should include the applicant’s name, age, and video, and be sent to talent@youthtv.co.uk by 20 August 2025.
- If the video file is too large to attach, applicants may use SimplyTransfer.uk or share an unlisted YouTube link.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a live audition and interview in Bedford on 27 August 2025.
While this is a voluntary opportunity, successful applicants will gain valuable hands-on experience in presenting, production, and on-camera confidence as part of a professionally produced, youth-led series.
YouthTV encourages applications from young people of all backgrounds and lived experiences, and is committed to building a diverse and inclusive presenting team.
As the project develops, YouthTV will also be exploring sponsorships and partnerships that align with its mission to engage, educate, and empower young people through creative, community-driven content.
