British Police Tape In Front Of Red Post Box, Shallow Depth of Field

An appeal has been issued for witnesses who may have seen a woman being attacked in Bedford last Thursday (8 October).

The woman was walking along Tavistock Place at around 7pm when she was attacked by a man, described as slim, about 5’5’’ with dark hair and side burns.

He was said to be wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and white trainers at the time.

Investigation officer Julia Hinson said: “If you witnessed this incident or recognised a man matching this description in the area at the time, please get in touch.

“We would like to speak to anyone who may have any details surrounding this attack.”
