Witnesses sought for Stanley Street shop robbery

Bedfordshire Police are seeking witnesses to a robbery at a convenience store in the Prime Ministers area of Bedford.

A Police spokesperson said, “We were called on Friday 3 January around 8.30pm to reports of a robbery at the Londis store in Stanley Street.

‘Two people, believed to be teenage boys, entered the store with their faces covered, and demanded alcohol before grabbing several bottles of wine and spirits.”

Bedfordshire Police confirmed that they were investigating several lines of enquiry and would ask that anyone with information should call 101 or use the online reporting tool quoting reference 40/599/20.
