Walk, cycle or scoot round Priory Park’s ‘Wheelie Good Trail’ this half term

Wheelie Good Trail

This half term, Priory Country Park is hosting a family trail, encouraging Bedfordians to get out and walk, cycle or scoot in the fresh air.

The Wheelie Good Trail, organised by Sustrans, follows the path around Priory Lake and features 16 pictures for participants to find.

Anyone can take part and it’s completely free.

“Around the main trail at Priory Country Park you can find 16 pictures of active transport vehicles along with a hidden magical surprise,” said a Sustrans spokesperson.

“We have organised this trail to give families an exciting reason to go for a walk at a local beauty spot and brighten up the days of the children of Bedford.

“We hope this trail will be supported by our town and promote the idea of active transport. The walk around the park to find the pictures and surprises can be walked, biked or scooted around.

“Happy hunting Bedfordians!”

The start of the trail is from Priory Marina Beefeater, Priory Country Park, Barkers Lane, Bedford MK41 9DJ.

The Priory Country Park is open 7 days a week 6am – 10pm.
