Bedford-born singer, Tom Grennan has confirmed that he has pulled out of his forthcoming concerts in Russia and Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict.
In a statement on Twitter, the former St Thomas More pupil told his followers that in light of recent events, he would no longer be performing at the concerts scheduled for summer 2022.
He tweeted: “My thoughts are with the brave people of Ukraine, and all those who oppose this devastating violence and seek peace.”

Tom was due to play Moscow’s Izvestia Hall on 4 July 4 and Kyiv’s Atlas Festival on 6 July.
He is the latest act to cancel performances. Green Day, Franz Ferdinand and Nick Cave have also confirmed they will not perform in Russia in protest at the invasion of Ukraine.
