The Park Pub & Kitchen has reopened after a refurb to create what operators, Little Gems Country Dining, say has created “a fresh new look”.
The bar and dining area of the pub, on Kimbolton Road, has a new look as has the extended walled urban garden, where locals can make the most of the last of this summer’s sunshine.
“The Park Pub & Kitchen is a local gem with a welcoming family atmosphere, located right next to Bedford’s beloved local park,” said Steve Wilkins, MD of Little Gems Country Dining.
“We’re delighted with the refurb and are particularly excited to launch our new urban walled garden to local residents and their furry friends alike.”
With bright new furnishings, the pub’s garden room and conservatory offers a cosy space to relax.
Whereas the new private dining area has had bi-fold doors fitted to diners can also make the most of the pub’s walled garden, when the weather allows.
A brand-new, seasonal British menu, has also been created, with some new additions alongside The Park’s favourites like Chargrilled Lemon Chicken with Quinoa, Lentil and Feta Salad, and Grilled Beef Salad with Parmesan, Olives and Rocket.
New culinary additions, include Bubble and Squeak, topped with Smoked Bacon, a Poached Hen’s Egg and Hollandaise sauce, as well as Chicken and Ham Pie, served with Creamy Mash, Buttered Greens and Gravy.
