Motorists are warned of likely delays heading to and from the A421 as Anglian Water carry out mains repair work on St Neots Road.
Temporary traffic lights are in operation on the stretch of the road between Norse Road (Go Outdoors) and the A421 roundabout at Renhold.
The work is estimated to be completed by Thursday (19 December).
