Teen stabbed outside Tavistock Street Sainsbury’s

The area around Sainsbury’s Local on Tavistock Street was cordoned off on Tuesday evening, following the report of a stabbing.

“We were called at around 5.20pm yesterday (Tuesday) to a report of a stabbing on Tavistock Street, Bedford,” said a police spokesperson.

“Emergency services attended and a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Beds Police on 101 or make a report online quoting reference 373 of 10 March.
