TedxBedford returns to Bedford, with a theme that seems more poignant than ever – Resilience.
Organisers have also shown their own resilience by live-streaming the event and making it free so the event can go ahead despite restrictions brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
“Never before has the word resilience had such power,” said a spokesperson for the organising team.
“As a neighbourhood, a nation and a global community our resilience is being tested now in ways we could never have predicted.
“All around the world, we have adapted in the most unprecedented of times and we have had to draw on strengths we didn’t know we had.”
The event will take place throughout the day on 6 November, with participants able to listen and learn from some inspirational and resilient speakers from Bedford and beyond.
A full list of the speakers is yet to be announced but organisers promise it will be an array of exceptional speakers from the local area and further afield.
“Together we will learn that resilience is something that can be found in us all, as our speakers share their experiences and unleash new ideas,” added the spokesperson.
