Bedford’s golden postbox has once again been given a seasonal glow-up thanks to the amazing talents of Steph Goldsmith.
Steph’s first crocheted post-box topper was unveiled during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022 and since then she has created designs for Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Christmas and also the funeral of the late HM Queen Elizabeth II.
This Easter, the St Paul’s Square postbox features a spring-time theme of rabbits and flowers on a luscious bed of grass and took Steph a couple of weeks to complete.
“I started with the green base and daffodils and then it all just flowered from there,” she told the Bedford Independent.
“It’s great to put a smile on people’s faces and add a little colour to the town.”
