The Post Office has announced a proposal to move the Post Office at the Brickhill Coffee Post on Brickhill Drive to a new location next door and to also increase service hours.

The current postmaster at 103 Brickhill Drive has resigned, but a new operator has been appointed and has requested the services move to the Nisa Local a few doors away.

This would mean there would be a Post Office serving point alongside the retail counter at the Nisa Local, with the same products and services would be available.

There would also be an extra five hours of service as it would be open Monday to Saturday: 8am – 7pm and Sundays: 9am – 3pm.

A statement from the Post Office said: “Our priority is to safeguard our services in the locality in the longer term and the relocation of Brickhill Drive Post Office would enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the community.”

However, the Post Office would still be interested to hear feedback from local users, in particular any issues they may have with getting to the new location or concerns about accessing the services inside the store.
