Pop up shop is a dream come true for young Bedford entrepreneur

A former River Island employee has created his own fashion brand and opened a pop up shop just in time for Christmas.

Tauseef Nawaz created Dreamwear to realise his own creative ambitions and to inspire other people to follow their dreams.

The pop up shop is at the Broadway end of Harpur Street and is open now until 25 January. Prices range from £25 – £80 and the collection includes hooded tops, tracksuits, t-shirts and premium-made headwear.

“One of the aims with our very own DREAMWEAR branded store was to fill the retail clothing void in our town and to also offer up something different than the traditional retail set-up,” explained Tauseef.

“We want to give our people in Bedford more of a reason to shop local. The pop up shop is already becoming a cool destination hub where our community come out of their way to shop and hang out with us.”

Based on the response from fellow creatives and other aspiring designers, Tauseef is planning a series of inspirational events to discuss the creative and business process.
