Police seek witnesses after kitten killed with air rifle in Cotton End

The owners of a 10-month old kitten have been left heart-broken after it was shot by an air rifle on Sunday (22 March). The incident happened in Cotton End and unfortunately the pet died of its injuries.

Bedfordshire Police said, “We can confirm that we received a report of a kitten that has died after what a vet has confirmed to be as a result of being shot with an air rifle.

“The incident is believed to have happened yesterday evening (22 March).”

The police are appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in Cotton End on Sunday to come forward or use the online reporting tool on their website.
