Police looking for driver after Embankment collision

Police say they’d like to speak to the driver of a red BMW after a vehicle was damaged along The Embankment in Bedford yesterday (21 July).

A spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police confirmed they received a report of damage caused to a white BMW parked on The Embankment between 10am and 12pm on 21 July.

Eyewitnesses report the driver of the red BMW got out to inspect possible damage after the collision and then drove away.

“The information has been passed to our collisions department and the enquiry is ongoing,” added the police spokesperson.

“If anyone did witness this incident, please call us on 101 quoting reference RTC/40/2239/2172019.”
