Police investigate stabbing in Bedford

Bedfordshire Police have cordoned off an area near to Bedford College and the Riverside North footbridge, after a man was stabbed this morning.

Officers were called to the scene by paramedics who were treating a man with stab wounds around 1.30am Saturday morning (15 Jun).

He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is asked to call Bedfordshire Police on 101 and quote reference: 40/33/821/19.
