Plans for up to 93 homes on land north of Lower Farm Road in Bromham have been resubmitted to Bedford Borough Council.
The outline application, submitted on behalf of Kler Group, seeks permission for up to 93 dwellings, public open space and associated infrastructure on a 4.55-hectare site on the north-eastern edge of the village.
A similar scheme was refused in 2017 and dismissed on appeal later that year.
Another application in 2024 was withdrawn in May 2025.
The new bid again proposes 30 per cent affordable housing (up to 28 homes) with access from Lower Farm Road. The site is not allocated for housing in the Bromham Neighbourhood Plan and lies outside the defined Settlement Policy Area.
However, the applicant argues the borough can demonstrate only a 3.35-year housing land supply, below the five-year requirement set out in national policy.
