Nominations are now open for this year’s Bedford Sports Awards, recognising local sporting greatness.
It’s also a celebration of the schools, clubs, organisations and volunteers whose work and dedication contributes to Bedford’s sporting community.
There are eleven categories to choose from and it takes just 10 to 15 minutes to nominate someone. Nominations can be submitted online at www.bedford.gov.uk/sportsawards.
The deadline for nominations in Wednesday 20 November at 5pm.
The categories include Adult and Junior Personality of the Year, Club of the Year, Team of the Year, School of the Year, Outstanding Volunteer of the Year, Disability Sports Award and Young Volunteer of the Year. A full list can be found on the website.
All shortlisted nominees will be invited to attend the awards ceremony on Monday 9 December at Bedford Corn Exchange where the winners are announced.
