A Bedford creative agency has launched a free file-sharing platform promising a privacy-first alternative to big-name services such as WeTransfer.
SimplyTransfer.uk, created by Simply Creative, claims to be aimed at creatives, freelancers, and businesses that want to share large files without their data being scanned, analysed, or processed by artificial intelligence.
The platform, which went live earlier this year, is free to use and already offers larger file size limits than many rivals, unlimited transfers, end-to-end encryption, and no forced sign-ups.
Wasem Sebi, founder of Simply Creative, told the Bedford Independent that the idea came from frustrations experienced by his team and their clients when using mainstream platforms.
“We don’t use AI. We don’t scan your files. We don’t sell your data. Your work stays between you and whoever you send it to,” he said.
“We and our clients were fed up with clunky, intrusive file-sharing tools. We wanted something that empowers creativity, not compromises it,” he added.
Built locally
Simply Creative, based in Bedford, is best known for its branding, design and marketing work. Sebi said the project is also about giving back to the creative community.
“As a local agency, we understand how important collaboration and privacy are to modern creatives. SimplyTransfer.uk removes barriers and gives people confidence in the tools they use,” he said.

The platform has been designed for use by a wide range of users, from photographers and designers to businesses handling sensitive documents, and is already being used beyond Bedford.
