Memory walk in Bedfordshire to raise money for county’s dementia café 

MacIntyre Memory Walk

On Sunday 29 September 2019, national charity MacIntyre are holding a one-mile, fully accessible memory walk known as Memories and Miles.

The event in Mowsbury Park will raise money for the MacIntyre Memory Cafe in Bedfordshire, which provides support for local people with dementia.

The fun family-friendly event will be a celebration of loved ones with dementia, but will also aim to raise awareness of people with a learning disability with an additional diagnosis of dementia.

MacIntyre Memory Walk

MacIntyre Memory Cafes in Bedfordshire is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 1:30pm to 3:30pm in Flitwick Village Hall. It accessible for anyone from the county.

The cafe provides essential support for people with dementia and their families, offering a unique space to take part in interactive activities and meet others in a similar situation.
