A community meeting is being held tomorrow (Friday) to discuss a proposal for a town centre arts space in the Mayes Yard development of Bedford town centre.
Local artists are encouraged to attend to explore opportunities within the proposed development, which aims to incorporate the empty Debenhams and Beales buildings, together with other buildings in the block and possibly Bedford Central Library.

Led by Bedford Art Society, the meeting will be held at St Mark’s Church in Brickhill on Friday, 10 October from 7pm – 9pm.
The group says it aims to improve the town centre’s cultural area with a community art space and all artists are welcome to attend to discuss ideas.
