Man hospitalised following Sainsbury’s brawl

A brawl in the car park of a supermarket in Clapham has left one man hospitalised with serious injuries and another arrested.

Bedfordshire Police were called to the car park of Sainsbury’s in Clapham on Thursday (16 May) at around 5.30pm following reports of an altercation.

A spokesperson for the forces said: “A man sustained serious injuries after being hit with what is believed to be a hockey stick, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

“A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).”
