Man charged with assault following incidents around Bedford School and De Parys Avenue

A man who spat at and threatened someone as they entered Bedford School has been charged with assault.

Terrance Rydquist, 47, of Foster Hill Road, Bedford, was charged with assault and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour following the incident, which took place on 11 June.

Rydquist was also charged with stalking in relation to a separate series of incidents between 9 June and 14 June in De Parys Avenue, Bedford.

Rydquist appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (22 June) and was bailed ahead of a future court hearing.
