Man charged after Bedford drugs raid

Charge/Arrest Bedford Bedfordshire Police

A drugs raid carried out by Bedfordshire Police on Clapham Road last week has led to a Leicestershire man being charged with drugs supply offences.

Police carried out a warrant on a property in Clapham Road, Bedford on Thursday (16 May).

It led to Dale Williams, 30, of Blaby Road, Wigston, being charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.

Williams was remanded into custody at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Friday 17 May, pending a future court date.

A 30-year-old Bedford man was also arrested but has since been released under investigation. Another Bedford man, also in his 30s remains in police custody for questioning.
