Local pub company raises £10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust

Festive foodies have helped local pub company, Wells & Co. raise £10,000 to support their 2022/23 partner charity, Teenage Cancer Trust.

Over the Christmas period, the company donated £1 for every Christmas menu purchased at one of their managed pubs.

Now that the festive glitter has settled, they have announced that a grant total of £9,758 was raised – which the Bedford-based family company have chosen to round up to an even £10,000.

“Teenage Cancer Trust are so thrilled to be partnered with the fantastic Wells &Co.,” said Hailey Amani, Senior Relationship Manager for Teenage Cancer Trust

“These donations will make such a difference to the support we can offer young people with cancer. Not only that, but
they were also kind enough to offer free meals to our wonderful nursing staff over the festive period too. What a special bunch.

“We can’t wait to see what else we can achieve throughout the rest of the partnership.”

Lauren Troiano, Retail Marketing Manager for Wells & Co., was equally enthusiastic: “We’re so
happy that we have been able to fundraise so much for our corporate charity, Teenage Cancer Trust,
via our festive menu donation.

“It’s been a rewarding journey so far working with such a great charity, we look forward to seeing how we can build on this amazing momentum in 2023.”

Wells & Co.’s partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust forms part of their Triple Bottom Line philosophy, focusing attention on social and environmental issues alongside their financial targets.
