Letters: Unless a level crossing is installed, an EWR route into Bedford St Johns isn’t viable

Dear editor,

With reference to your letters page of 28/07/21, I read with interest Richard Pill’s letter regarding EWR but was dismayed to discover that he is still pushing the idea of reinstating the old route into Bedford St Johns.

Read: Letters: Help us suggest solutions to the East-West Rail Company

I am unaware of his suggesting a solution to crossing Cardington Road but I’m sure Network Rail will not be prepared to install a new level crossing at a time when they are trying to eradicate as many as possible!
