Dear editor,
Exasperated, frustrated and asking for your help.

Despite numerous requests to Bedford Borough Council, including phone calls, emails, and in-person visits, I still cannot get the orange bin collected from the Sacred Heart of Jesus and St Cuthbert Church on Mill Street.
I receive polite replies saying the problem will be reported and sorted, yet the bin remains.
The litter-minded folk of Bedford add to the bin, and now it’s overflowing. It remains an obstruction on the pavement, which I assume is a health hazard.
The church does not appear on the bin collection list and yet the black and green bins are collected.
So, barring taking the bin in person to the Council offices (a thought that had crossed my mind ), I am turning to Bedford Independent readers for any creative ideas or suggestions to get the bin cleared and collected as it should be.
