Dear editor,
The petition to remove Fusion as the provider of Bedford Borough Council’s (BBC) leisure facilities is understandable but will not have any effect on Dave and his team’s thinking.
It has been obvious for over three years that the charlatans that run Fusion are seemingly untouchable by the inept management of BBC and despite their abysmal performance will continue to run the town’s leisure assets into the ground.
Trust Pilot records Fusion as 95% bad and rates Fusion as the worst leisure provider in the UK.
Despite not opening and going through a major redundancy programme, its CEO will still draw his annual salary of £240,000 – yes that’s about a quarter of a million.
If BBC bothered to look at Fusion’s accounts they would see that it overtrades and has a massive cash flow problem (which was obvious long before lockdown!)
Meanwhile BBC sits on its hands as is has done for the last three years.
Any petition will fall on deaf ears at the town hall.
Maybe Dave has plans to build houses on the sites.
