Rather than spending money on an enforcement vehicle for the borough’s enforcement officers to travel round in, to enforce parents illegal parking at schools, which would have very little effect on issuing tickets, a far better solution would be to invest the money purchasing bicycles for the enforcement officers.
They could be dispatched on their cycles around these hot spots and issue tickets.
With Royden’s comments to remove vehicles and crush them, what would the cost of this suggestion be to the ratepayer?

The police still use cycles in London and it works. Bedfordshire police once had cycle patrols.
This would show the council are really supporting reducing carbon emissions and helping to improve air quality.
