Autumnal window display at Number 13 St Paul's Square
The clocks have gone back and Autumn is definitely in the air – and in the windows of Made in Bedford at Number 13 St Paul’s Square.
The ‘Leaves for Change’ window art display has been designed and created by the Made in Bedford artists, designers and makers.
The display will be in place until 6th November and all the unique and beautiful works of art are for sale.
The leaves are made in different materials and reflect the style of each of their creators.
“All proceeds will go to Butterfly House Women’s Refuge in Bedford, helping families rebuild their lives after domestic abuse,” said Rachel Atkinson of Made in Bedford.
The leaves can be chosen from the branches and collected after the display ends on 7th November.”
Customers can also buy a handmade ‘Leaves for Change’ badge has been designed for the exhibition by the artist Hannah Heys.

Now more than ever, we need your help to fund the Bedford Independent’s quality journalism that serves our community...

We choose to champion editorial independence, meaning we report the facts without bias and can stand up to those in power when we believe it’s needed.

We can give a voice to people in our community whose voices may otherwise not be heard. And we don’t have a paywall, so everyone can read the stories we publish for free.

But in this time of crisis, many news organisations all over the world are facing existential threat, with advertising revenues plummeting. We’re no different.

We work hard every day to bring you news, commentary, entertainment and announcements from across Bedford. We hope that, with your help, we’ll be able to continue this for many years to come.
