The King William IV pub in Kempston is open for business as usual today, despite being involved in a collision with a Mercedes yesterday (Thursday).

Bedfordshire Police were called at approximately 11.35am to reports that a car had collided with a pub in High Street, Kempston.

The Mercedes 4 x 4 entered through the window and wall of the pub’s restaurant.

Police confirmed that no-one was injured in relation to the incident and no-one has been arrested.

General manager, Michaela Lyon said, “At present part of the restaurant is closed but the remainder of the building is open as usual we are still serving food from 10 am till 9pm Monday till Saturday and Sunday 10am till 6pm so its business as usual.”
