We offer a wide variety of co-curricular sports too, ensuring that every boy can find his niche and pursue his interests. Our competitive fixture card allows boys to test their abilities against other schools, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie.
Our major sports include rugby, hockey, cricket, and rowing. The rowing programme at Bedford School is particularly distinguished, offering boys the chance to train on the River Great Ouse as well as within our Rowing Performance Centre.
These state-of-the-art facilities alongside our experienced coaches help boys to develop their technique and endurance. The programme has a proud history of success in national competitions, making it an excellent choice for aspiring rowers.
We also offer a prestigious rowing scholarship that can cover up to 100% of fees in the Sixth Form, providing exceptional support for talented young athletes.
With a total of 34 different sports on offer, supported by elite partnerships with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, Northampton Saints (rugby), Woburn Golf Club and John O-Gaunt Golf Club, there is truly something for every boy at Bedford School.
