There will be plenty of food and drink stalls inside the concert arena for multiple dietary requirements.

One fold up/picnic style chair per person is allowed, you can also bring picnic blankets.

Parking

There is no onsite parking inside Bedford Park, however, there are plenty of local car parks which you can use. To find a car park head to Bedford Borough Council’s parking website.

If you are getting a taxi, please use De Pary’s Avenue for drop off and collection which is opposite the main entrance to the park.

COVID-19

A COVID passport will not be required to attend the concerts. As the Prime Minister has stressed, the coming weeks will require a significant degree of personal responsibility. If you do feel unwell, have covid symptoms or have been advised to self-isolate you should not attend the event.

Tickets

Tickets have been transferred from the original show date and you just need to bring your paper or electronic ticket along. Some tickets may be available from the box offices at Bedford Park on the date of the show.

Speaking to the Bedford Independent, Mark Harrison thanked music fans for their patience during concert delays and rescheduling.

“It was never going to be an easy task to get all our artistes to align but we’ve done it. We are so happy to be able to bring Bedford Park Concerts back to the park in 2021.

“I cannot thank our loyal customers enough for all the messages of support and encouragement over the last 15 months.

“It has been an incredibly difficult time for the events and live music industry and we can’t wait to see you all this year, just a little later than planned in September!”

Tomorrow, Cafe Mambo returns to Bedford Park with sets from DJ’s Pete Tong, Danny Howard, and Sister Bliss.

On Sunday, it’ll be the 25th anniversary of Bedford Park Proms with Wynne Evans, Victoria Joyce and the London Gala Orchestra.

Now more than ever, we need your help to fund the Bedford Independent’s quality journalism that serves our community...

We choose to champion editorial independence, meaning we report the facts without bias and can stand up to those in power when we believe it’s needed.

We can give a voice to people in our community whose voices may otherwise not be heard. And we don’t have a paywall, so everyone can read the stories we publish for free.

But in this time of crisis, many news organisations all over the world are facing existential threat, with advertising revenues plummeting. We’re no different.

We work hard every day to bring you news, commentary, entertainment and announcements from across Bedford. We hope that, with your help, we’ll be able to continue this for many years to come.
