Bedfordians are asked to take part in a public survey to share their experiences of local healthcare services during the coronavirus pandemic.
Over recent months, the coronavirus pandemic has presented considerable challenges to healthcare, resulting in changes to the way many services are delivered.
To assess how well these changes are working local health commissioners are seeking the views of the public.
Alison Borrett, Chair of the BLMK Patient and Public Engagement Joint Committee, said, “Coronavirus has impacted on every aspect of our lives, including healthcare. The NHS has had to adapt to ensure it has the capacity to treat seriously ill COVID-19 patients and limit the spread of the disease.
“Consequently there have been important changes to the way people access services throughout our region and we want to hear what they think is working well and highlight any areas they feel are still in need of further work and improvement.”
The online survey is designed to find out how the pandemic has affected people’s health and well-being, and their personal experience of the way health and care services are being delivered.
Ms Borrett said, “I urge everyone to spend a few minutes to complete the survey as the feedback we receive will help us plan services as we move forward through the pandemic and beyond.”
People can submit their answers anonymously and the results will assist the future development of health services throughout BLMK.
