This Friday (17 May) an ice cream parlour in Bedford is inviting Bedford Independent readers to have an ice cream on the house to celebrate their 16th anniversary.

The giveaway will be held from 12pm to 6pm at Creams Cafè on Bedford High Street with flavours suitable for vegans and vegetarians too.

Founded in 2008 by Adam Mani and Balal Aqil, Creams had a humble beginning in Southall, West London. The Bedford store is family-owned and opened in December 2017.

“We don’t just sell ice cream,” said owner, Tariq Mahmood, who moved to Bedford from East London five years ago.

“Among our most popular dishes are waffles, crepes, cookie doughs, milkshakes, doughnuts and bubble tea.”

Creams is now the UK’s biggest dessert brand with around 100 stores across the UK, maintaining their focus on customer service and good high-quality desserts.

And that’s definitely something worth celebrating…

To claim your free ice cream, all you have to do is turn up at Creams (119 – 121 High Street) between noon and 6pm to receive one free scoop per person present.

Six flavours of sorbets, which are gluten-free and suitable for vegans and vegetarians, will be on offer alongside 20 flavours of Italian gelato.

Free entertainment will also include face painting, balloons and a free photo booth.
