An event is taking place this Thursday (27 February) to inspire members of Bedford’s thriving entrepreneurial community.
Set up by Jodie Faitakis, entspired hosts events to unite entrepreneurs and provide a platform where they can connect, learn and grow.

With a background in launching her own businesses and coaching hundreds of entrepreneurs, combined with a passion for event management, Jodie hosted the first entspired event in Bedford last September.
Since then, she has supported over 90 local entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners through events and thought-provoking discussions.
Covering topics such as Visioning, Finding Your Cognitive Edge, and Pursuing Your Passion, as well as hosting Fireside Chats with successful local entrepreneurs, Jodie is on a mission to empower Bedford’s business community.
Past panellists have included Gemma from lifestyle shop, The Arc, James from the Digital Media Group, Lauren of Wilf and Friends, , Sareena and Nim from Sarene Baby and Rob of The Blue Glass.

The next entspired event, sponsored by Bedford Heights, takes place on Thursday, 27 February at 7.30pm with the theme: Beyond the Grind – prevent burnout in entrepreneurship
This Fireside Chat will feature a panel of experts sharing insights on maintaining well-being while building a business. Speakers include Lauren from The Little Marketing Company/The Little Yoga Company, Liane of Brave Breathwork, Neil from The Movement Project and Dominika at Relief Therapies.
Speaking to the Bedford Independent, Jodie said: “The entrepreneurial journey is full of highs and lows, often leading to exhaustion and burnout. That’s why our event on Thursday is designed to help entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs manage and prevent burnout with practical, easy-to-implement techniques.
“I understand firsthand the challenges of the entrepreneurial journey. Having run my own businesses, coached entrepreneurs, and spent most of my career in entrepreneurial education, I know how tough it can be.
“If I can do anything to make that journey a little easier, I will.”
