Celebrating its third year of trading, Rosehip Bespoke Floristry is an independent florist based at The Barn on Cople Road in Cardington.

Owners Zannah Allen and Hannah Hurd took the decision in 2023 to put sustainability at the heart of their business, and they are among a growing number of local florists and growers championing locally sourced products.

“We decided to use solely British flowers and foliage and be season-led, using sustainable methods with no floral foam in any of our designs,” explained Hannah.

“All our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible from growers and flower farms near to the shop.  Locally grown flowers can be cut at the perfect stage for their required use, meaning they don’t travel through the commercial supply chain covered in chemicals.

“They will arrive with glorious scent, maximum vase life and natural movement rather than a rigid straight stem.”
