Clapham man charged with murder after fatal stabbing

Jamal Jeng, 21, of The Close in Clapham, near Bedford, has been charged with murder following an incident on Friday morning (28th September).

Police were called to a flat in St. Mary’s Street in the early hours of Friday morning after reports of a stabbing. Paramedics also attended but the victim, a Bedford man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still looking to find other suspects and ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something suspicious, or who may have other information related to the case, to contact them by calling 101 quoting Operation Woodleigh.
