Brawl breaks out at Jubliee Park

A brawl involving 20 people broke out in Jubliee Park at the weekend leaving one man with serious injuries.

On Saturday evening (24 July), police were called to the park after reports a group were fighting with skateboards and scooters.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

PC Pawel Karpinski, investigating, said: “This was a large affray, and we believe there are numerous witnesses that were in the area at the time who may be able to assist us

“We would like to encourage anyone with information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, to get in touch.”
