Bedford’s high rise buildings to recieve safety check from local Fire Service

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service will be spending this week visiting all high-rise buildings across the town to ensure their safety, learning lessons from the Grenfell Tower disaster and offering advice to those who live in them.

Keen to ensure that the Grenfell Tower tragedy of 2017 is never repeated, Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service will be visiting local communities to give advice to any new residents about how to stay safe in their high rise property and refresh everyones safety knowledge.

Starting today, crews are set to travel across Bedford with the following itinerary:

Tuesday 12th:

  • Chandos Court
  • Boswell Court
  • Priory Court

Wednesday 13th:

  • Beckett Court
  • Roise Court
  • Frampton Court

Thursday 14th:

  • Evesham Court
  • Upton Court
  • Westbury Court
  • Leighton Court
