Ryan and Charley King’s triplets, Jack, Billie and Spencer were born nine weeks early and now require specialist treatment to correct a condition caused by being born at just 31 weeks.
After two failed IVF attempts, the triplets are a “blessing”. But now Ryan and Charley desperately want to raise these funds to give the triplets the best chance of a happy and normal childhood.
The triplets all suffer with a severe form of Plagiocephaly and/or Brachycephaly, conditions that causes the flattening of the soft skull bones.
Fortunately, the flattening can be corrected with specialist helmets, but at a cost of £6,000 this is not available on the NHS.
Dad, Ryan says: “If not treated this condition can cause issues with their hearing, sinuses and range of neck movement.
“It can only be treated while they are young and their skulls are still soft and growing”
Despite their on-going health concerns, Ryan says the triplets have brought joy: “It is so rewarding to see their development and their happy little faces after a tough start in life”
