Bedford’s good causes have been given extra time to bid for a share of a £12,000 Bursary offered by CALA Homes after an extension of their deadline to 22 March.
The bursary, now in its third year aims to provide support to organisations and projects in the areas CALA operates, including Bedford.
Over 200 good causes having already benefited from the bursary scheme since 2017.
CALA want to encourage as many groups as possible to submit applications and hope the extra two weeks will give them that opportunity.
Duncan Jackson, Managing Director at CALA Homes (North Home Counties) said: “CALA Homes has always been committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to the local communities in which it builds, and we’re looking forward to finding out about even more of the great work being done in the area, and what support is needed locally.”
Application packs can be downloaded from the CALA website, or collected from CALA Homes’ Clover Gate development on Sandy Road in Potton.
