The town’s premier sporting club, Bedford Blues and the University of Bedfordshire have announced on an expansion of their already successful Higher Education Partnership.

Earlier this week, the University and Bedford Blues confirmed a “renewed commitment” where students will be able to undertake work experience at Bedford Blues for the purposes of observing training sessions and creating new content.

As well as the new learning opportunities, there are also chances for students to win a £500 prize awarded annually in collaboration between the University and Bedford Blues.

As well as the advertising boards that surround the pitch advertising the University, which will remain, the students will also have the opportunity to gain a behind-the-scenes understanding into the experiences of the Club’s athletes and commercial team.
