An award-winning business expo run by Bedford Radio is returning for its second year to showcase over 50 businesses, organisations and charities.

The Bedford Business Expo, which earned the Silver Award for business innovation at the SME Bedfordshire Business Awards, will be back at King’s House on Ampthill Road on Tuesday, 12 March.

The networking event is free to attend and aims to showcase the wealth of businesses within Bedford Borough, from new start-ups to long-established organisations.

Organiser and founder of Bedford Radio, Martin Steers, said the event aims to provide the opportunity for local people to create and strengthen face-to-face connections, and to bring businesses together to discuss what they do.

He said: “We received so much great positive feedback last year so of course we wanted to do it again.

“Supporting local Bedford businesses, charities and the local community is what we’re all about, and we want to also use this event as an opportunity to showcase Bedford Radio and who we are as the local radio station for the great town of Bedford.”

Bedford Radio is collaborating with Bedford Business Buzz to run a breakfast networking meeting before the Expo kicks off. “There will also be a breakfast networking event before the Expo begins, organised by the fantastic team from Bedford Business Buzz.

“Running from 8:30am to 10am, this is the perfect way to meet like-minded people and discover new opportunities over the comfort of a hot drink and a pastry,” said Martin.

You will need to buy a separate ticket for this event on Eventbrite here.

Bookings for stalls are now open, including special rates for charities and new businesses and you can find out more at the Bedford Business Expo page of Bedford Radio’s website here.

It is free to attend between 10am and 3pm and you can register on Eventbrite here.
