A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the head during a fight on Shakespeare Road, Bedford this morning (Tuesday).
Bedfordshire Police are now appealing for witnesses, saying they are “determined to find out who is responsible”.
Officers were called to the Shakespeare Road at around 2am after receiving reports a 17-year-old boy had been stabbed in a fight with a man.

The victim was taken to hospital with head wounds but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
“Luckily, the victim is not seriously wounded, but we will never tolerate knife crime in our county and are determined to find out who is responsible,” said Detective Constable Lindsey Cook who is investigating.
“We are working to establish the circumstances of this incident and are following up several lines of enquiry.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at that time and has any dash cam footage or information, which could help us establish who the offender is.”
